Microsoft.... a word which started to linger around students like me and you in our childhood , which was only synonymous to the blue sky with panned window
and paint, to draw a house with an apple sort of a tree around, using spray tool with a blue moon in the dark skies. This makes me extremely reminiscent how
Microsoft changed our childhood ,making
us the first few generations to use computer in schools. And since then there
was no looking back.
Microsoft has been and will remain a constant mentor for aficionado's
like us. May it be the MS Operating System or the most utilized MS Office, it was only because of
such Microsoft creations that the work of people from all strata ,right from a student to a multinational
million dollar company was simplified . It made our lives effortless. With
windows updating from 98,XP,Vista,7 to 8, it was I who grew faster .The MS Word
has been a constant companion to fathom my
overflowing thoughts . The MS PowerPoint and MS Excel have helped me since the school days
where it all started with small presentations and now in college where it helps
us with long technical presentations. MS Outlook helped me manage my mails and
contacts. It was Microsoft that gave me the direction and helped me explore as
well as develop the technical front of mine.
Today, Microsoft has provided so many important tools and
services like Visual Studio, Microsoft
Virtual Academy and opened up new
horizons for us through the Microsoft Dreamspark account. Modern day life utilization tools like
Skype made it all easy to stay connected
with loved ones who are away from us. And how can I not mention the Windows phone? I feel
privileged to use one of the first Windows phones, Omnia W, when whole surrounding
was buzzing with Android. But I feel Windows phone emerged to be a silent
winner then, who has today exalted itself in the market.
Microsoft being a talent encouraging establishment and has always invigorated us by undertaking novel projects like 'Microsoft Student Associate'
.This is a platform to get associated with technological giant, to know the
entrepreneurial world and bring a bit
change in the society.Moreover, Microsoft
owes so much to my progress, so I feel that the MSA program will be a
small attempt to contribute for the Microsoft. Also as an MSA I could easily
reach to the students in my college and
other colleges in the vicinity and arrange a few quizzes, group discussions,
training sessions on latest trends in technologies which would helpful.
As an MSA I would love to organize computer literacy
programs in schools for kids who are
unable to get it. As an MSA I could
arrange the interviews and talks of young entrepreneurs in the technical fest
of my college which has a presence of
more than 1.5K technical geeks. This, in turn will benefit a large number of
enthusiasts to understand the industry better. This program will provide me a
stage to bring the hidden talents of the students which otherwise are unearthed.
This will help develop a sense of fulfillment in their minds and encourage them
to work harder towards technological excellence.
Every student aspires to cognate with the Microsoft and I feel really fortunate to be a part of
the MSA program. It will surely be a
dream come true, if I become the Microsoft Student Associate which will be a
platform to flourish and prove my mettle in this competitive world. With the
ever changing technology what remains constant is the MICROSOFT trust and the
START button...!!
